Holiday Badge
To complete this badge your stay must be for two nights or longer.
- Join in the planning of a Guide holiday. With the rest of the group going away, discuss: What you all want to get out of the holiday. The area you would like to stay and possible venues. How long you will go for.
- Plan and agree: A suitable venue for the holiday – a member of the local Outdoor Activities Team must approve this. A programme for the holiday, including activities and places to visit. Duties and responsibilities for all group members.
- Know what to do in case of fire in the venue.
- Be able to use simple first aid for treating cuts, stings, bruises and minor burns.
- Take an active part in the holiday and fulfil duties and responsibilities as agreed.
