1939 POR – Airwoman Badge

1) Be prepared to answer questions on the Aircraft badge

2) Have taken control in a dual control machine in the air.

3) Have pointed out in the air a suitable landing place, and be able to recognize ridge and furrow, hay and crops.

4) Be able to recognize and explain the use of: Tail incidence; Actuating gear; Air speed indicator, in machine and on wings; Revolution counter; Oil gauge; Height altimeter; Air brake; Throttle.
