Time changes, and new programmes become old, and the time has come to add another generation of interest badges onto the site. This time it’s the 2000-2018 era Guide interest badges. After all, it’s 8 years since they were replaced, so by anyone’s reckoning they can now be considered old. They went through three design phases over that time. In the initial two phases they were random shapes as well as random colours, with round, oval, oblong, square, triangle – and different colours. The second phase retained the shapes and colours, but replaced the trefoil on each with a new style. The third phase saw standardised round badges with the outline of a star contained within.
Seems like only yesterday they were new . . .
